A relationship that I know of and am kind of involved in is on the verge of ending after 20 years.
I feel such sadness and apprehension at what will come of it all. Pain, anger, unanswered questions, loneliness for both parties???
I really have to ask the question: is there such a thing as a happy ending???
Even when two parties stay madly in love over the years and become each others true soul mate someone has to die or it ends in divorce or they may stay together but be living separate lives so really what is the point to it all.
Sad!

Very sad indeed. So many times, it is hard to make sense out of life and the actions of others, especially our loved ones.
