We had a lunch at my Mom and Corrie today with Andy and I and my brother and his girlfriend. We always have a great time when we get together and I just love family time. My Mom had prepared the usual amazing spread of snacks and salads and the table setting was just lovely with a chocolate Lindt bunny for each of us at our place at the table and Corrie of course braai'd and served delicious morsels all through the day. I had prepared a personalised pack for each person full of the goodies that they like and then written their name on the pack and hidden them all around the house. Andy hid one for me too.We then went hunting for our own pack.... hee hee lots of fun even though we are all adults!
My mom had bought my brothers girlfriend and I a keepsake box each which she had hand painted and mosaiced herself and then filled with Lindt chocolates. They are stunning and my mom made mine in a pastel shade of pink of course as pink is my most favourite colour in the world! So thoughtful and even more special as my mom took the time and care to make them. What a lovely day spent with family, cats and Andy and the best part is that there are still 3 full days of long weekend left!

PS - my family always has lunch at my Grandma's place for Easter and we always get chocolate too lol.
