Busy Bees

Well its another week/weekend of busy bee status for us and in fact that status does not change for the rest of 2011. Since Tuesday's braai for Corrie we have had another braai last night at our friends' house. Its highly unusual for us to have braai's during the week or to do much at all on week nights but with so much on the go at this time of year right through to the new year we are pretty much forced to do things during the week now too. We have not seen some friends for weeks and weeks because of reciprocal busy diaries and so P and I decided that a Thursday would have to do and we had a really lovely evening, chilling and catching up with just us 2 couples.
Tonight we are actually free which is quite amazing but tomorrow is jammed packed with going to check out a baby shower venue and then attending a good friends son's 2nd birthday party in the afternoon. They are going all out with prawns and fillet on the braai and a great afternoon it should be.
Then on Sunday we are attending Andy's uncles 70th birthday lunch.
Next week brings loads of meetings, appointments, an art expo of Andy's sisters sister-in-law in JHB, the Santa shoe box drop off project, Andy's school reunion and his birthday.
The week after that we are on holiday for a week. Thank you for that small mercy!
The week after that we both play catch up at work big time and wonder if it was worth taking leave, have garden landscapers at home and a special visitor. Then its more kiddies birthday parties, friends birthdays, shows and house warmings, painting of our sun room and baby room, my baby shower, ante-natal classes and then Christmas, New Year and baby arrives!
Whoosh there is the rest of the year GONE.
OK I'm panicking.... breathe breathe breathe :)
