My fiance' recently shared a few photo's he has taken over a period of time of Johannesburg in all its beauty and they really made me think.
It is so easy to get caught up in the hum drum of every day life and no longer "see" your surroundings.
I live in a city with a unique beauty and am proud to share these images, compliments of my babe.

Admittedly Joburg has always seemed grey, dull and somewhat... violent to me, can't say that the airport experience to and from Cape Town some years back changed my mind either. This photo cavalcade does though, who knew there existed such wonderful, serene and lush looking places there! Lovely!
