My Mom and I have registered at http://www.santashoebox.co.za/ and will be decorating boxes in awesome personalised decor for the children who's names we have chosen and then filling them with special age appropriate items to make their Christmas Day this year just a little bit brighter and more cheerful. The great part about this is that after the gift is opened and the contents are used, enjoyed, finished or gone, the child retains their own box which the Donor has decorated just for them with their own sticker name on it and this can be used by them for anything they choose and hopefully serves as a reminder to them every time they use it or look at it, that someone out there cared, cared for them personally, chose them and made something for them. A reminder that they live, exist and matter.
